ITQAN - Season 2. إتقان
(Itqan, meaning: perfection, in Arabic)
I spent two months early 2023 in Qatar and travelling by car through Saudi Arabia, Jordan and up to Palestine, producing and 1st ADing the second season of إتقان , about the Arab world. We shot and made first cut edits of 20 episodes on location, followed by a few days at Plateau Virtuel, a studio in Paris with real-time LED tracker display, to film intros and conclusions . The show started airing only a few days after we wrapped production, and every night throughout Ramadan.
